Logan Paul has made several appearances for WWE in 2022. Saturday’s scheduled appearance is to be the biggest yet, though. Paul will challenge ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
Reigns has made a habit out of utilizing his family and associates to his advantage. The Bloodline – consisting of Jey and Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, Paul Heyman, and Sami Zayn, has been a huge asset to Reigns on his ongoing, 793-day reign as undisputed champion. So it would have behooved Logan to bring some backup along with him. Turns out, that’s exactly what he did. Logan’s brother, Jake Paul, made his arrival at WWE on Friday.
“@JakePaul is here!” WWE tweeted on Friday morning. “Logan Paul has some serious backup for his battle with @WWERoman Reigns tomorrow at #WWECrownJewel!” they continued, asserting that Jake will be in Logan’s corner for the title bout Saturday.
This was a move reportedly in the works over the course of the week. In fact, it was already updated on the event’s Wikipedia page prior to Jake’s official arrival.
The Paul brothers are no strangers to fights or bold behavior for that matter. Even though it’s a surefire bet that Reigns is going to retain the championship Saturday, the added element of Jake will certainly bring a bit more eyeballs to this match. Chicanery is likely to be afoot, one way or another.
