Fans have been able to catch Indiana Fever phenom Caitlin Clark in the FIBA World Cup qualifiers in Puerto Rico, her first official basketball action since missing nearly all of the 2025 season with a lower-body injury.

Clark wasn’t the only Fever star who had her season cut short. Her close friend and teammate, Sophie Cunningham, saw her campaign end early after tearing her MCL late in the year.

Both are hoping for a healthier 2026 season, and in Cunningham’s case, we can rule out her missing any time due to “deflated breasts.”

In a recent episode of her Show Me Something podcast, which she hosts with West Wilson, her high school friend turned reality television star, Cunningham confirmed that while there are players in the WNBA who have “fake boobs,” she’s too afraid to play with them for fear they’d deflate mid-game and she’d be forced to miss time.

Fans reacted to Cunningham on social media.

“Why would she do that while playing? I’d think having a smaller (chest) would be easier,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“She not lying because I just saw a highlight video of her in the WNBA and it’s was just her fighting almost,” someone else added.

“Should be the face of the WNBA Great personality,” one fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Cunningham remains with the Fever or is taken by another team in the upcoming expansion draft.
