The WNBA and the Indiana Fever certainly are eagerly anticipating the return of Caitlin Clark after she missed most of the 2025 campaign with various lower-body injuries. Clark wasn’t the only one who saw her season cut short due to injury. Her close friend and teammate, Sophie Cunningham, suffered a torn MCL that ended her season as well.

Both are looking forward to a return to Indianapolis (as long as they aren’t selected by another team in the upcoming expansion draft). In Cunningham’s case, we now know whether or not she’ll be competing with breast implants in 2026.

In her Show Me Something podcast, which she co-hosts with her high school best friend, West Wilson, Cunningham was asked if anyone in the WNBA had “fake boobs,” to which she nodded in the affirmative.

Cunnigham then said that she’d be “so scared of getting them” because she’d be scared “they’d pop.”

“Deflated breast implants, out indefinitely,” Wilson joked after he made a hissing sound imitating the implants deflating.

“That’d be my luck,” she responded.

“It Makes Literally No Sense”

In an earlier episode of the podcast, Cunningham touched on the ongoing CBA negotiations between the WNBA and the WNBAPA, where she said the league was changing numbers, contributing to the standstill.

“It makes literally no sense. They keep coming back and changing like half percentages on things we’re not even asking.”

Hopefully, Cunningham and the Fever are able to return to the court soon.
