The Atlanta Dream made the biggest splash of the offseason when it traded to acquire star forward Angel Reese from the Chicago Sky. With Reese’s addition, Atlanta figures to immediately be a championship contender.

However, for the dream to fulfill its potential, Reese will have to play at the top of her game. Unfortunately, she struggled in the season opener to score the ball efficiently. Now, Reese is admitting that it is rough on her when her shot is not falling.

“I mean, it was obviously rough, rough for me personally, but just being able to fight on both ends of the floor is something that I always know,” Reese said.

People reacted to Reese’s admission on social media.

“Sure was rough. was rough to watch but 99% of your games are. it’s not being anything other than honest based on stats. 9 out 14 rebounds were mebounds form poor shots. Traveling almost every trip down the court. Over/under on games before ATL is sick of her,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Angel Reese is one of the worst female players I’ve ever seen. It’s crazy that she she gets away with traveling every possession. She has the worst mid to long range shot mechanics I’ve ever seen including free throws. Her layup from the hip are comical and cartoonish,” another fan added.

“Sometimes, the more haters you have is a sign that you’re doing something right! Do not let the doubters get in your way. Instead, let them ‘Motivate’ you to work even harder to make your Dreams a reality,” another fan wrote.

Reese will almost certainly turn things around on the offensive end and remind everyone just how dominant she can be.
