Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) gets the crowd excited Tuesday, May 20, 2025, during a game between the Indiana Fever and the Atlanta Dream at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Atlanta Dream defeated the Indiana Fever, 91-90.

The Indiana Fever struck gold when it selected former Iowa Hawkeye with the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. Since entering the league, Clark has propelled the WNBA and the Fever to record highs in attendance and television viewership.

However, as valuable as Clark is, it appears that it isn’t enough to make the Fever the most valuable team in the league, per a new graph that details the projected value of each of the WNBA’s 13 teams.

At the top of the list sit the Golden State Valkyries, who are in their inaugural season, followed by the New York Liberty, and with Clark and the Fever coming in third.

Fans reacted to the chart on social media.

“The Valkyries at #1 is crazy! They’ve played like 7 home games in the franchise history and they are already at #1? Wow!” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Evaluations are revenue potential. GS is a huge market. They get tons of sponsorships and they get a huge financial benefit from playing in Chase Arena. For context – The GS Warriors are also number 1 in valuation and the Indiana Pacers are 26th, while the Indiana Fever are 3rd,” one fan added.

“Someone needs to buy the Dream that will put the team in a bigger arena. They’ve have the crowd numbers for three years but they play in the smallest arena in the league. And I even like Larry but cmon dude. Do something,” added someone else.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Fever are able to take the number one spot within the next couple of years.
