WNBA standout Cameron Brink has already checked off a major milestone by appearing in *Sports Illustrated Swimsuit*, but it appears she may be open to pushing things a step further.

Back in May, Brink was officially revealed as one of the featured models for the annual *Sports Illustrated Swimsuit* issue.

“I think it’s always really hard to be a woman in this world, but especially a female athlete,” Brink told SI Swimsuit at the time. “Am I supposed to look more feminine? Am I supposed to look more athletic? What’s the balance? What do people think? My femininity—I hold that very close to my self-image, so it’s definitely gone back and forth. I think every female athlete’s had a really rough go with body image. But I’m definitely glad I’ve gotten to a really good place, and I’m able to do stuff like this with SI Swimsuit. It’s just very empowering, so I hope everyone can get to a point like this.”

More recently, though, Brink hinted that another iconic publication might not be completely off the table.

Earlier this year, former Chicago Sky guard Kysre Gondrezick made waves online after posing for *Playboy*.

“Playboy’s 2025 Miss June,” Gondrezick wrote on Instagram. “Proud to be the first Black professional athlete in history to ever grace Playboy magazine and this year’s centerfold.”

When asked about the possibility during a recent interview with TMZ, Brink didn’t shut the door.

“Yeah, maybe!” Brink said, adding that Gondrezick “looked absolutely beautiful.”

Still, Brink made it clear there’s one key factor that would ultimately influence her decision.

“We’ll see … maybe!! If my fiancé approves,” she said with a laugh.

Needless to say, this led to a lot of reactions on social media.

“Playboy is adorably quaint versus the non-stop filth that clutters the internet,” one fan wrote in a post on X.

“So she doesn’t just wanna hoop? How many nba players play basketball and also pose in speedos for playboy?” someone else wrote.

“Why would her fiancé approve of this?” another person questioned.

“Can’t she make her own choices?” someone else asked.

“I think she should just do it if she wants to do it,” another person added.

We’ll have to see whether or not the shoot ever happens.
