Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has been sidelined for two weeks with a quad injury she suffered in a close loss to the New York Liberty. However, Clark has managed to remain a presence around the team on gameday, as she’s been extremely vocal from the bench, especially with referees.
Her Fever isn’t the only team she’s supporting at the moment, either. Clark was in the building for the Indiana Pacers’ Eastern Conference Finals clinching win in Game 6, and while she couldn’t be present in Oklahoma City for the Pacers’ Game 1 win in the NBA Finals over the Oklahoma City Thunder, it’s safe to say she was paying attention.
“YOU CANT MAKE IT UP,” Clark tweeted in all caps after the Pacers pulled off yet another miraculous comeback after being down as many as 15 points in the fourth quarter.
Fans reacted to Clark’s tweet on social media.
“whatever black magic the pacers do they need to share with their fever sisters plz,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“CC you better be in the house for games 3 and 4 we need you more than the Fever do rn,” one Pacers fan added.
“Are the Pacers & the Fever about to both win chips?!? This is absolutely insane & feels like this run was meant to be..” someone else wrote.
If the Pacers and Fever manage to win the Finals, it could mean the start of two midwestern basketball dynasties.
