The Indiana Fever have their superstar Caitlin Clark fully healthy and back on the floor this season after injuries wrecked her second year as a professional, sidelining her for all but 13 games in the 2025 campaign.

However, there were concerns that Clark, who made her name as one of the most lethal shooters in the history of basketball, men’s or women’s, had lost the All-WNBA form from her rookie season, particularly with regard to her three-point shot, which is what makes her so dangerous in the first place.

Unfortunately, through the first two games of the season, it’s been confirmed that Clark isn’t the same player right now that she was before all of last year’s soft tissue injuries.

Clark entered Wednesday night’s game against the Los Angeles Sparks shooting under 16% from distance in her last three games. Against the Sparks, it was more of the same.

Although she went off for an impressive 24 points in the win over the Sparks, Clark was just 1-for-7 from the three-point line. Teams are still covering Clark like she’s in her prime, but the reality is for the moment at least, she just isn’t quite the same player.

Hopefully, she’s able to turn it around and recapture the form that took the nation by storm and catapulted women’s basketball to its current levels of popularity.
