Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was forced to miss the entire second half of the 2025 WNBA season due to a nagging groin injury that she couldn’t recover from in time. The Fever still managed to go on a miraculous playoff run, pushing the Las Vegas Aces to overtime in a winner-take-all Game 5 in the WNBA semifinals before coming up just short.
With the season over, fans were hopeful that they’d be able to see Clark sooner than the 2026 season, thanks to the emergence of Unrivaled, a professional three-on-three women’s basketball league that takes place during the WNBA offseason.
Unfortunately for those fans, it’s not to be, according to Front Office Sports.
“EXCLUSIVE: Caitlin Clark will not play in Unrivaled this season, sources told FOS,” the outlet tweeted from its official Twitter account.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Good Job, no one should take 3v3 exhibition stuff serious. Those girls that need extra money can do it but Caitlin not in that situation,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“I doubt we will ever see her in Unrivaled, trapped in Miami for 3 months. I think she would rather spend her offseason enjoying her free time and supporting Connor at Butler,” someone else added.
Hopefully, Clark will return to full health in her time away from the sport.
