It’s a tumultuous time for Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady. His marriage is ending, the Buccaneers are fighting for their playoff lives, and his crypto investments are almost certainly in shambles. Perhaps one of those inspired a recent change to his Twitter profile picture.
While Brady deals with the fact that his soon-to-be ex-wife is now hanging out with a new beau, he’s also almost certainly reeling from financial losses related to the downfall of FTX. Like many other sports folks in Florida, Brady was heavily invested in FTX. In fact, Brady was a brand ambassador for FTX and also appeared in several commercials for the crypto exchange.
Brady has been a huge proponent of cryptocurrency, evident by his longstanding Twitter profile image, a photo of him with “laser eyes” to showcase his “laser focus” on getting the price of Bitcoin up.
Alas, things are not going well in the world of crypto in general and Brady might have finally admitted it’s time to move forward as he changed his profile picture.
If you’ve lost Tom Brady, you may have lost the hearts and minds of America, crypto.
It certainly has been a season of major changes for Brady, and it seems like there are certainly more to come.
