NFL world reacts to DeMeco Ryans hire

Houston has signed Ryans to a six-year deal.

The Texans will pursue DeMeco Ryans to be the team's next head coach, reported ESPN's Adam Schefter on Sunday night.

"There is mutual interest and if all goes well, he could be their next head coach."

DeMeco Ryans, the defensive coordinator for the 49ers, has emerged as the "top candidate" for the Broncos job according to 9News Denver.

“I sort of think he’s going to go back into TV. I think this is sort of a day-to-day-thing with him,”

Only two of the 301 quarterbacks drafted in the past 25 years were under 5-11 and 200 pounds.

Payton is seeking a contract worth between $20 million and $25 million a year.

"They've got really good draft capital."

"This may be a little bit sensitive, but we’re not a racist organization."

"I'd say there's a chance that he'll be ready for the start of the offseason program."
