Former USWNT star Ashlyn Harris recently had a big change in her personal life, filing for divorce from her wife, former USWNT teammate Ali Kreiger back in September. And it seems like she has already gotten back out on the dating scene, recently going out on a date with a famous actress.
Sophia Bush, who is famous for roles in hit TV shows One Tree Hill and Chicago P.D., also recently had a big change in her life, divorcing her husband Grant Hughes in August.
It seems like both are getting a fresh start and moving on very quickly, as the two are now reportedly dating according to TMZ.
Harris, who retired in 2022 from professional soccer, played on the 2015 U.S. team that ended up winning the World Cup.
A source with knowledge of the situation spoke to People Magazine, detailing that the two recently went on their first dinner date.
“After being friends for years, and running in the same social circles, Sophia and Ashlyn went out on their first dinner date a couple of weeks ago,” a source from inside their social circle said. “This is so recent, and they are both beginning new chapters.”
“There is no salacious story” the source added. “Even though the public may want there to be.”
The relationship between Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and pop icon Taylor Swift has obviously taken over the sports world as of late. And it now seems like we have another celebrity-athlete relationship to keep our eyes on.
