Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce is still undecided on his retirement. It’s hard to blame the surefire future Hall of Famer for taking his time, with everything else he has going on this offseason.
Kelce is not only getting ready for his upcoming wedding with global pop sensation Taylor Swift, but is also going on a golf tour of sorts, as he competes in Pro-Am events around the country.
On Tuesday, Kelce attended the TGL golf league match in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, which took place at SoFi Center.
At the event, Kelce was spotted talking to United States President Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump.
Kai is currently on the golf team at the University of Miami (the one in Florida, not the school with the only undefeated team left in men’s basketball), so it’s not shocking that she would be at the event.
What is shocking is that Kelce would publicly speak with a member of the Trump family after the feud between the President and his fiancée. In September 2025, the President even posted “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” on Truth Social.
Fans reacted to the exchange between Kelce and Kai on social media.
“Taking bets how long it will take Taylor to break off the engagement. The prize available to win is bragging rights,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Im a life long Chiefs fan but this aint a good look. I might have to pick another team to root for,” someone else added.
“Pooor guy is going to get told off when he gets home lol hahaha I work in the industry and met Taylor like 10 times and on her rise to superstar I got to kinda see her really operate. Shes very smart,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see if Swift responds publicly to the exchange.
