Hollywood celebrity Timothee Chalamet proved himself as a real deal sports fan during an appearance on College Gameday, where even the show’s panelists were impressed by his ball knowledge. Now, Chalamet has taken his love of sports to the big screen.
Hollywood’s fastest rising star is receiving universal acclaim for his new film, Marty Supreme, in which he portrays Marty Mauser, a world-class table tennis player who will do, quite literally, whatever it takes to succeed.
Chalamet recently attended the Golden Globes, where his portrayal of Mauser won him the award for best male actor in a comedy or musical. Chalamet was accompanied by his girlfriend, socialite Kylie Jenner.
Unfortunately, Jenner was left embarrassed by one of her boyfriend’s costars, Odessa A’zion, and a clip of the incident is going viral online.
Fans reacted to the blatant show of disrespect on social media.
“I don’t even care for Kylie, but this is so rude. They should be greeting her as well out of respect at least,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Kylie being more famous than her and timothee combined. no one gaf about odessa im crying,” someone else added.
“Finally, someone in Hollywood with the balls to treat influencers like the irrelevant side pieces they are. Kylie who? Timmy’s the star, Odessa’s the vibe keep the nepotism trash out of real talent circles,” another person added.
It’ll be interesting to see if there’s more to the relationship between Jenner and A’zion that most of the public is currently privy to.
