Global pop sensation Taylor Swift is set to be engaged to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Unfortunately for Kelce, he is coming off arguably the most disapointing season of his storied career.
The Chiefs failed to make the playoffs, and his running mate, superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tore his ACL toward the end of the campaign. Now, Kelce is faced with a decision on whether he wants to retire or try to win one more Lombardi Trophy before he hangs up the cleats.
Still, with everything going on in Kelce’s professional life, he’s not letting it affect things with Swift.
Per The U.S, Sun, a source told the outlet Kelce was set on making sure that their last Valentine’s Day before being married was “unique and special.”
Swift was reportedly very happy with the gesture.
“She likes incorporating slightly masculine pieces into her style, whether it’s jackets, vests, or watches, to add edge to her outfits. He enjoys spoiling her with beautiful, high-end items like that,” Barba’s source said.
“He wants her to feel overwhelmed in the best possible way — surrounded by one of the things she loves most in life: flowers and their sweet scent.”
It’ll be interesting to see what Kelce has in store for when the pair are married.
