Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and global pop music sensation Taylor Swift are two of the biggest celebrities in the country, and together they form one of the biggest couples in America as well. However, they aren’t just set podcast records together. This week, the pair broke the news that they’d be taking the next step together.
Swift and Kelced shared the news via a joint Instagram post, per Awful Announcing. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the caption read, along with a photo of Kelce’s proposal.
Now, more news is breaking about the proposal, highlighting just how large a power couple Swift and Kelce are.
“Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement announcement is now the #13 most-liked Instagram post in HISTORY with 33.21 MILLION likes,” one Swift-centric account reported on Twitter.
As any Swift fan will know, 13 has been a prominent and meaningful number for the artist throughout her career. Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Numerology always on her side,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“The numerology with her is Crazy,” someone else noted.
“IS IT REALLY GOING FOR THE #1 SPOT OMG,” another excited fan wondered.
It’ll be interesting to see if Swift manages to climb even higher in the all-time rankings.
