Kit Harrington aka Jon Snow from Game of Thrones appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show last weekend to answer some big questions about the fate of his character *spoilers below*.

Ross used the ‘Stone of Truth,’ a strange looking statue which is essentially a lie detector test, to determine whether Harrington was being truthful to Ross’ inquiries. Harrington could answer questions with “Yes,” “No,” and “I know nothing,” with Ross administering small shocks if he thought Harrington was being deceptive.

The first question is the big one as Ross asks “are you [Jon Snow] dead?” to which Harrington responds “yes,” which gives him his first shock. Technically, Harrington could be telling the truth as the long-con during the Game of Thrones break has been to say his character’s dead, when really he’s been spotted on set, sparking rumours Snow will be resurrected.

Later in the interview, Harrington responds “yes,” to the question “are you playing a dead body next series?” which Ross quickly follows up with “Do you become a White Walker?” to which Harrington responds “No.” The game is a silly one, but that’s a huge reveal. Were the chances minuscule Snow would become a White Walker? Yes, but the answer debunks a possible answer to what happens next with the character.

The game was silly fun, and surprisingly revealing. We’ll see the fate of Jon Snow soon, as season six of Game of Thrones returns April 24 on HBO.
