UFC superstar Sean Strickland has been vocal about his support for Donald Trump, but it sounds like he might be having a few regrets about voting for Trump in the most recent election.
Last week, the New York Times reported that the Donald Trump administration was moving to provide more than $8 billion worth of weapons to Israel following a meeting between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“The State Department has given Congress formal notification that it plans to move forward with sales of more than $8 billion in weapons to Israel, bypassing an informal review process that was underway in a House committee,” the New York Times reported.
The move took place just days after President Trump met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel and said the United States would ‘take over’ the devastated Gaza Strip and turn it into a ‘Riviera of the Middle East.'”
Strickland clearly was not a fan of this move.
In a post on social media, Strickland blasted Trump for providing so much aid to Israel instead of providing for cities in the United States. Strickland went on to suggest that he made a mistake in voting for Trump.
“Man if Trump keeps this [stuff] up I’m about to start waving a Palestinian flag.. American cities are [trash]holes and you wanna go spend billions on this dumpster fire.. Did we make a mistake?! This ain’t America first,” Strickland said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
Clearly, Strickland thinks Trump should spend more of his energy in the United States.
