Throughout his senate campaign, former Georgia Bulldogs star running back Herschel Walker has made quite a few absurd comments. He’s made some nonsensical statements about air, has a strange vendetta against trees and apparently thinks there are 51 states. Recently, he made what might be his most bizarre comments yet, when he explained why he’d rather be a werewolf over a vampire.
Herschel Walker‘s comments about werewolves and vampires were downright bizarre, especially for someone currently campaigning to be a United States senator in one of the most critical and hotly-contested elections in the country this election season. As a result, he’s drawn criticism from former United States President Barack Obama, who made fun of Walker for his comments this week.
“Since the last time I was here, Mr. Walker has been talking about issues that are of great importance to the people of Georgia, like whether it’s better to be a vampire or a werewolf,” Obama said, according to Fox News. “This is a debate that I must confess I once had myself. When I was seven. Then I grew up.”
This isn’t the first time Obama has blasted Walker throughout his campaign. He previously compared Walker to Donald Trump as a celebrity trying to become a politician.
