Georgia GOP senatorial candidate and former Georgia Bulldogs star Herschel Walker seems to create problems every time he opens his mouth. Sometimes it’s because he’s lying and other times it’s because he’s answering questions with word salads so dense that they’re impossible to make sense of.
It was the latter on display at a recent speech when he started discussing climate change and went off on a tangent that is pretty impossible to decipher.
“Since we don’t control the air our good air decided to float over to China’s bad air so when China gets our good air, their bad air got to move,” said Walker. “So it moves over to our good air space. Then now we got we to clean that back up.”
What?
It’s the latest in a series of strange speeches and discussions by Walker, and it’s understandable now to see why he refused to debate any other GOP candidates before the Georgia primary.
Naturally, as that clip went viral on Monday, there were strong reactions across many different regions of social media. Given that Walker was a famous college football and NFL star, the sports world was also keenly aware of the comments and had some reactions all its own.

This is the Herschel Walker Trade of political quotes. You could trade this quote for a Super Bowl roster. https://t.co/aecFJIjXsy

Nobody who is voting for Herschel Walker is doing so for any well-thought out policy platform.
Which is the problem, no?

Knowing that he could potentially be a U.S. Senator is a scary proposition.
