Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk recently threw the “All-American” Super Bowl Halftime Show, an alternative to Super Bowl LX’s halftime show headlined by Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny and targeted more toward a conservative audience.
Although TPUSA’s show, which was headlined by Kid Rock, didn’t have as many viewers as the Puppy Bowl, Kirk was still proud of how the event turned out.
“The (TPUSA) All-American Halftime Show was so incredible. Charlie would’ve absolutely loved it. Thank you to the millions that tuned in. I’m so proud of our entire team, staff, and the artists who believed in the vision and mission… Ultimately, this is what it’s all about, making Heaven crowded. …I love you Charlie baby, this is all for you,” she wrote on Twitter.
Unfortunately, Kirk has been linked to someone facing some especially troubling allegations, according to the International Business Times.
Per the IBT, “A pastor affiliated with Erika Kirk’s recent public appearances has been charged with multiple counts of child trafficking.” If found guilty of the charges, his links to Kirk could jeopardize any future halftime shows TPUSA had planned.
People reacted to the troubling accusations on social media.
“The corruption runs very deep in MAGA/GOP circles but it is always exposed sooner or later,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“The way these far-right/MAGA/Trump supporters are being exposed for their crimes against children daily, it’s expected at this point,” someone else added.
“It breaks my heart. A church is supposed to be the safest place, not the darkest,” one person added.
Hopefully, this is all sorted out as soon as possible.
