There’s unrest in Washington, D.C., following the ousting of tech billionaire Elon Musk from United States President Donald Trump’s administration, where Musk served as an efficiency expert.

Musk has officially departed and now that he’s out he’s making it known how he actually feels about the job that Trump is doing.

“Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate,” Musk tweeted before following up with, “such ingratitude.”

People reacted to Musk’s tweets on social media.

“Curious to hear from Elon fans if a mega-donor saying his financial influence won an election and thus has a clear expectation his spending should be rewarded with legislative and administrative influence is something you’re generally cool with – or just with Elon Musk?” one person wrote on Twitter.

“Trump was going to win regardless. You did a lot, but you’re acting like a child who got their crayons stepped on… You betray Trump 2 business days since leaving doge. Is pathetic on your part. Worse than Mike Pence,” someone else wrote.

“Elon, why can’t you shut up and just focus on your own missions man? Such a bummer seeing your focus shifting. You helped a lot, but saying this publicly is so ridiculous and a breach of respect/loyalty. You should have picked up the phone and called him instead of this,” wrote another person.

It’ll be interesting to see if Trump responds.
