Things are getting heated in Washington, D.C., after the ousting of Elon Musk from Donald Trump’s administration. Trump spoke candidly about how disappointed he was in Musk.
“I would have won Pennsylvania regardless of Elon…I’m very disappointed with Elon. He knew this bill better than anyone and he only developed a problem when he found out I would cut the EV mandate… When he left he said the most beautiful things about me, he hasn’t said anything bad yet but I’m sure that will be next…I’ve helped Elon a lot…
“Elon worked hard at DOGE and I think he misses the place…I think he got out there and he’s no longer in this beautiful Oval Office…it’s not just Elon, I think when some people leave they miss it so badly they develop a type of TDS…some embrace it and some become hostile,” Trump said in a video that’s making the rounds on social media.
It’s didn’t take long for Musk to respond.
“Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate,” Musk tweeted in reply to the video of Trump, before following up with, “Such ingratitude.”
People reacted to the exchange on social media.
“This is not accurate. He literally won the largest landslide in history, both electoral collage and popular vote. And this is coming from a licensed notary public, not some random clown,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Elon, why can’t you shut up and just focus on your own missions man? Such a bummer seeing your focus shifting. You helped a lot, but saying this publicly is so ridiculous and a breach of respect/loyalty. You should have picked up the phone and called him instead of this,” someone else added.
“This post is incredibly arrogant…no sir…without WE THE PEOPLE…he wouldn’t have been elected, YOU did not choose the President…WE DID,” another person added.
It’ll be interesting to see how Trump fires back.
