It is no secret that Donald Trump has a lot of support among NASCAR fans. Now, Trump wants to put people from that world on his team if he wins this upcoming presidential election in November.
Trump wants to have NASCAR owners and football coaches over his military. Trump praised the likes of race-car owner Roger Penske and wouldn’t mind having him running the U.S. military.
“What you do is amazing. It’s amazing, so amazing,” he said. What I have always said is we need to get some of these guys… Roger Penske won like 20 Indianapolis 500s, this guy wins all the time… let me use these guys to guide our military.”
As mentioned before, he is also advocating for American football coaches to be a part of his military team.
“It’s the same with coaches, you take some of the greatest football coaches and put them in a room… what do you like coach?”Because in its own way it’s not so much really different,” he said.
Trump’s plan to add people with little to no political experience is par for the course and has a lot of people concerned about a second Trump presidency.
