President0-elect Donald Trump is gearing up to return to the White House in January, where he’ll replace the outgoing President, Joe Biden. Trump won both the electoral college and the popular vote against Biden’s vice president, Kamala Harris.
With his victory secured, Trump isn’t afraid to let people know how he feels about his Democratic adversaries, and he did just that recently.
In a clip that is making the rounds on social media, Trump speaks on Biden’s decision to pursue a band for the popular social media app Tik-Tok.”
“Biden wants to get rid of TikTok, you know why? Because he has no idea what the hell he’s doing,” Trump says in the video.
People reacted to Trump’s words on social media.
“Trump is the one who kicked this process off by trying to ban TikTok in the first place. I think the main thing is that Trump doesn’t want to have to deal with the consequences,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“For the record. it wasn’t ‘get rid of tik tok’. It was sell US Tik Tok to an American company. (last bid range was in $50B) OR you’re not in business. China is the one playing chicken. It’s $50B or Zero china. you pick,” one person added.
“When they went through with the ban I knew they lost the election. They showed they could do unpopular things if they wanted and couldn’t do popular things even if they wanted,” added someone else.
It’ll be interesting to see if Biden defends his decision.
