Love him or hate him, former president Donald Trump is known for doing what he wants, when he wants.
Trump is set to do just that by publishing private correspondence from the future King of England “without the King’s permission,” according to The Telegraph. The letter will appear in a new book of “personal correspondences with world leaders, public figures and celebrities” set to be published Tuesday.
Charles III, then only the Prince of Wales, wrote to the Donald in 1995 and thanked him for offering honorary membership to Trump’s Florida golf resort, Mar-a-Lago.
The Telegraph notes the letter wishes “Mr. Trump success in his new private members’ club, which the former president opened after purchasing the mansion, and expressed an interest in visiting.”
Charles also suggested that Trump visit the Institute of Architecture in London.
Princess Diana, weeks before her death in 1997, also wrote to Trump and thanked him for the flowers he sent on her birthday.
“They truly are quite magnificent, and I am deeply touched that you have thought of me in this special way,” she wrote.
The book will also feature correspondence with former British prime minister David Cameron in July 2013 after Trump complained of wind turbines near his Scottish golf properties.
