Former United States President Donald Trump is facing numerous federal charges stemming from his alleged mishandling of classified documents, and Caityln Jenner is absolutely furious that fellow Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis has not agreed to pardon the former president if he wins the nomination.
Caitlyn Jenner, who rose to fame by winning a gold medal in the men’s decathlon at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games before transitioning to a woman, is one of the most iconic and famous transgender people on the planet, and she’s also a strong supporter of former United States President Donald Trump. And this week, she expressed her outrage with Ron DeSantis for his apparent refusal to pardon Trump.
In a quote tweet of DeSantis, Jenner blasted the presidential candidate for his failure to agree to pardon Trump, calling the federal charges against the former president a “witch hunt.”
“YOUR TOP POLITICAL OPPONENT IS BEING UNJUSTLY PERSECUTED. Agree to pardon him! This is a sham and you know it. But you hope you benefit from it. SHAME ON TEAM DESANTIS!” Jenner said.
Earlier this week, Jenner also made it clear that she would not be supporting DeSantis in the election due to the anti-LGBTQ and anti-tran rhetoric he uses throughout his campaign.
