24-year-old figure skater Mirai Nagasu landed a triple axel on Sunday night in the PyeongChang to become the first American woman to pull off the unbelievable maneuver in the Winter Olympics.

The triple axel hadn’t even been landed at all by an American woman in international competition since Tonya Harding did so in the 1991 World Championships, and has only been landed by eight women worldwide in the history of international competition.

Understandably, Nagasu and her USA teammates were *quite* pumped about the historic accomplishment.
