While the talk about the upcoming Olympic games is still surrounding whether or not Caitlin Clark was snubbed, more and more media members are concluding that maybe Clark wasn’t snubbed, she just wasn’t good enough to make the team. Fox Sports 1 host Chris Broussard shared this sentiment on First Things First on Tuesday.

“Snubbed is the wrong word,” said Broussard. “She may not be one of the 12 best players in the world but we’ve won 7-straight gold medals. We’re going to win no matter who the 12th player is. It was a mistake to leave her off.”

Rebecca Lobo explained Monday why the decision was made to leave Clark off the team. The main reason according to her is that Clark has not played with the current team that they have put together. Nine of the 12 players on the team have played with each other before during training camp and have more experience than Clark.

Another reason she may have been left off is she has never played against international competition before, while most of the other players have.

Still, that explanation was not good enough for some people who think despite all of this, she still should have been chosen and no legitimate explanation will change their mind about that.
