The Vegas Golden Knights were on the verge of a Game 3 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Friday night, until Marc-Andre Fleury had a brutal gaffe.
Fleury went behind the goal to clear the puck from the boards, and, well, didn’t exactly clear it. Instead, Fleury handed the puck right to Josh Anderson for a Montreal game-tying goal.
And Montreal took advantage of the extra life in overtime.
After the game-tying goal in overtime, Anderson added the winner in overtime:
The Canadiens take a 2-1 series lead, and Fleury will likely be seeing that mistake again in his nightmares.
