On Monday, The Athletic released a story all about Urban Meyer’s tenure with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Some things, like Meyer going wild in Columbus or kicking Josh Lambo and that being the nail in the coffin that got him fired, were already known. But other things included Meyer threatening to fire players and coaches, criticizing the importance of scouts while they were in the room, and not being familiar with NFL stars like Aaron Donald, Deebo Samuel, and Jamal Adams.
The whole thing really adds to the disaster that was Urban Meyer’s foray into the NFL. And while it doesn’t name them directly, it leaves one to wonder what owner Shad Khan was thinking hiring the guy in the first place.
Anyway, it’s brought out strong reactions from the masses.
