Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been in the news quite a bit this season.
From appearing in various commercials to a budding relationship with Taylor Swift to continuing to be one of the best offensive players in the NFL, Kelce’s been on the rise for quite some time and there doesn’t seem to be any slowing down.
His newfound popularity boost has resulted in something more: A brand new home.
Per TMZ, Kelce recently purchased a new mansion outside of Kansas City for just under $6 million. The new home is much more private and secluded than his current home, which had been becoming a bit of a tourist attraction for Chiefs fans and Swifties alike.
The home reportedly has no shortage of cool features, including six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a pool, a tennis court, and a mini golf course. It’s also contained within a gated community, which should really cut down on onlookers waiting for the star outside his house.
Kelce wanted more privacy and security, per TMZ. His relationship with Swift also seemingly played a role in his decision.
Kelce has led the Chiefs this season with 36 receptions and 346 receiving yards to go along with three touchdowns. He’s coming off his best effort of the season when he put up 124 yards, a season-high for any tight end, in Kansas City’s 19-8 Week 5 win over the Denver Broncos.
