Tom Brady’s personal life has come under immense scrutiny in recent months with reports of marriage problems between Brady and his wife Giselle Bündchen, and Brady admitting to dealing with a lot of big life issues off the field. And recent new revelations about Brady’s mysterious leave of absence from the team won’t do much to quiet that drama.
According to a report from The Daily Mail, Brady left his wife to spend a portion of his time away from the team with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan in the Hamptons as the two celebrated their son’s birthday.
Normally, Brady’s trip to celebrate his son’s birthday with his son’s mother would not make many headlines. But given his current marriage struggles and reports that Brady’s time away from the Buccaneers was to spend more time with Bündchen, the trip raised eyebrows.
While Brady has not gone into specifics about his absence from the team or his marriage, he has made it clear that he does have a lot of issues going on in his personal life.
Regardless, it looks like this will be Brady’s final season in the NFL after concerns about his body holding up and an ultimatum from his wife.
