Even though Tom Brady might not be playing in the NFL next season after announcing his retirement from the league earlier this month, but it looks like he’s still planning to continue his weekly podcast series.
On Friday afternoon, SiriusXM announced that it had signed a multi-year renewal of Brady’s weekly Let’s Go! podcast that also features former All-Pro wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald as well as Hall of Fame Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Jim Gray.
“As the greatest quarterback in history steps away from the field and embarks on the next chapter of his career, SiriusXM will be the place to hear him talk about it all in his own words,” said Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer, SiriusXM. “Tom, Larry and Jim have produced so many ‘must listen’ moments so far in their first two seasons of Let’s Go! This is truly a one-of-a-kind show, allowing fans to connect with two of the greatest players to ever play the game. We are thrilled to extend our relationship and now make Let’s Go! available exclusively for our subscribers.”
Brady himself sounds excited to be back, as well.
“I’m excited to be back with Jim, Larry and the SiriusXM family for season three of Let’s Go!” Tom Brady said in a release from SiriusXM. “Thank you to all of our supporters and fans. We look forward to providing insight on the game we love again in the fall.”
The NFL world had plenty to say about the news.
It looks like Brady will indeed be broadcasting in some capacity next season.
