Even though Tom Brady is officially retired from the NFL and will not be playing for a team this year, that does not seem to be keeping him out of NFL locker rooms.
As the Las Vegas Raiders prepared to take the field ahead of their final preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday, Tom Brady exited the locker room with the team’s four quarterbacks Jimmy Garoppolo, Aidan O’Connell, Chase Garbers and Brian Hoyer. It was clear that Brady had been with the quarterbacks helping them prepare in the locker room, and he even had some advice for the group as they took the field.
“Go ruin their night,” Brady said in his message to the quarterbacks before the game.
Brady also hung around on the field during warmups and even greeted some fans in attendance for Saturday’s game.
This comes after Brady agreed to become a minority owner of the team earlier this offseason, although that deal did hit a slight roadblock as there is a question about whether employees of an organization can have equity in a franchise.
But what is clear is that even though Brady will not be playing football this season, it appears that he is still going to be around the game – and he’s now officially aligned with the Las Vegas Raiders.
