It’s no secret around the NFL world that Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bündchen are going through a very public divorce as the entire world speculates on some possible reasons for their separation. While the two likely hoped for an easy and amicable split, it doesn’t look like that’s how things are going.
According to a report from Page Six, the legal battle between Tom Brady and Gisele as they work out their divorce is “very nasty” and the two sides are “ready for a fight.”
“Things are very nasty between Tom and Gisele because of the lawyers. They are ready for a fight,” a source told Page Six. “Tom and Gisele are not battling over the kids, they both want joint custody. But it will take some time to divide their immense wealth and property all over the world.”
While it initially seemed that the couple could possibly save their marriage, even despite years of turmoil, it seems they now have plenty of work to do if they’re even going to be able to be cordial in the future.
In the meantime, Brady continues his frustrating season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as the team’s struggles even have reporters wondering if Brady is ready to retire in the middle of the season. Sunday’s stunning loss to the Carolina Panthers certainly didn’t help matters.
