March 17, 2020 may go down in history as the day the New England Patriots’ dynasty officially ended.
Tom Brady announced on his social media channels that he is leaving the New England Patriots.
Despite his first tweet looking like he was staying, Brady said he is indeed leaving as “it is time for me to open a new stage for my life and career.”
Brady ends his Patriots career with six Super Bowls in nine appearances over 20 years. With three MVP’s, the 42-year-old is probably going down in history as the best of all time.
So now, where does Brady go? The favorite has got to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There aren’t many other teams in the running for Brady and reports have the Bucs going “all in” on Brady. The Chargers are also floated as a possibility as well as the Raiders but they seem to be behind the Bucs at the moment.
FYI: The Patriots host the Buccaneers in 2021 so if Brady signs a two-year deal, which is what he has reportedly wanted, that’ll be some scene at Gillette Stadium.
