The AFC North has been known as one of the grittiest divisions in the NFL for decades now. There’s an argument that no teams in the division embody that culture more than the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns.

Both franchises also happen to have arguably the two best pass rushers in the league in Myles Garrett and T.J. Watt. Garrett hasn’t been shy to proclaim himself the best in the business, but now Watt is responding, and it’s the kind of classy, team-centric response that might just make Gaarrett reevaluate the way he views things.

“It’s one of those things where it’s not for me for to answer. I just want to play the best possible football that I can play. I want to bring a championship to the city of Pittsburgh. All that other stuff can be debated by other people,” Watt said.

Fans reacted to Wat’s statement on social media.

“The best G.O.A.T. answer ever!! I don’t have to answer that, you guys do. That’s why he will always be better than Myles,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Class act but everyone knows TJ is superior…except Garrett, perhaps,” another fan added.

“Don’t have to say it tj it’s proven year in and year out,” one fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Garrett starts prioritizing team success this year.
