The Tennessee Titans entered the season with a lot of hope after drafting former Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward with the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Unfortunately, the Titans are 0-4 after their first four games of the season.

To make matters worse, Ward has not been the player the Titans were hoping for. As one Twitter account noted, Ward’s numbers through the first quarter are concerning.

“Cam Ward is off to one of the WORST statistical starts a rookie QB has ever seen. Among all QB’s who have played at least 4 games this season, Ward is last in almost EVERY significant statistical category.

• 51.2% completion percentage (last) • 614 passing yards (2nd last) • 2 passing TD’s (last) • 17 sacks taken (last) • 23.0 QBR (last) • 63.9 passer rating (2nd last) • 4 losses (last)”

Fans reacted to the troubling numbers on social media.

“This is a prime example why it’s so important to watch film before forming opinions. The tape doesn’t match the stats,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“For the first 3 weeks this account and all the Titan faithful talked about was how great Cam looks and that he doesn’t play like a rookie. I disputed that and was told that I don’t know football. Supporting cast or not his stats are horrific even for a rookie,” someone else added.

“I guess most GMs think these super athletes mobile QBs would overcome shortcomings on the O line deficiencies but that’s not real , for any rookie QB support h would need a solid O line and Running game,” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see where Ward’s season goes from here.
