The Houston Texans had an outside shot of winning the AFC South, but ultimately, the Jacksonville Jaguars rolled over the Tennessee Titans to clinch the division title. The Texans will now go on the road to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night.

Unfortunately for the Texans, multiple things are working against Houston in major ways.

For starters, the Steelers have been historically great on Monday night.

“Steelers are on a 23 game win streak playing on Monday Night Football at home and now get to host the Texans on Monday Night Football in Wild Card Weekend,” NFL Nerd revealed.

As if that weren’t enough, four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers revealed in the Steelers’ regular-season finale that he is still more than capable of playing at an elite level. Not only will the Texans have to face a confident Rodgers, but the veteran will be getting his top offensive weapon back from suspension as well.

“Guess what, we get DK back!” veteran Cam Heyward said after beating the Ravens.

Fans reacted to Heyward’s proclamation on social media.

“Gotta be tough for DK to miss out on the postgame in the locker room. Hoping he’s fired up and ready to bounce back next Monday with fresh legs,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Going to be nice to have him back,” another Steelers fan added.

“Cam knows our WR core is poop lmaooo,” someone else added.

It’ll be interesting to see how Houston goes about trying to slow down the connection between Rodgers and Metcalf.
