Ever since global pop superstar Taylor Swift began dating Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, their relationship has become a major storyline in the NFL community. And Swift opened up about all that attention in her recent interview with Time, after she was named the magazine’s Person of the Year.
During her interview, Taylor Swift told Time that she doesn’t even know how the cameras are able to find her from so far away.
“I don’t know how they know what suite I’m in,” Swift told Time. “There’s a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don’t know where it is, and you have no idea when the camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don’t know if I’m being shown 17 times or once.”
As for how much attention the NFL is giving her during game broadcasts, she has no idea just how much they show her on television, and she doesn’t sound all that concerned about it, either.
“I’m just there to support Travis,” she says. “I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
So while Swift may have become a focal point of Kansas City Chiefs broadcasts, it’s clear it’s not of her choosing.
