Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals have had their fill of T.J. Watt during the 2022 season. While he sustained an injury in the game, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year wreaked havoc in the Week 1 meeting between Cincinnati and his Pittsburgh Steelers. Watt returned to action in Week 10. In Week 11, he was again lined up against the Bengals. Again, he made his presence felt.
Burrow attempted a pass in the third quarter. Cincinnati tackle La’el Collins actually did a good job keeping Watt out of Burrow’s face. But when Burrow released the ball, Watt put his arms up. He got his hands on the pass but rather than knock it down, Watt secured the ball for a jaw-dropping interception.
Watt’s brother, J.J. Watt, was amazed at his brother’s tremendous play.
He was not the only one. Football fans everywhere were in awe of Watt’s latest tremendous play.
The Steelers couldn’t take full advantage of Watt’s great play. They failed to pick up a first down and ended up kicking a field goal.
This was the sixth interception of Watt’s career and the second of the season. The first of the season was also against Burrow and the Bengals in Week 1. The good news for Cincinnati and its fans is that they will not have to see Watt again until next season.
