The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns are bitter division rivals, so it’s only fitting that they each have a contender for the best pass rusher in the league. T.J. Watt has spent his entire career in Pittsburgh, and Myles Garrett has done the same in Cleveland, although he did have to rescind a trade request earlier in the offseason.

Garrett has not been shy in the past to let the world know that he thinks he’s the best in the business. Now, Watt is responding to Garrett, and it’s the sort of response you might expect from a consummate professional such as Watt.

“It’s one of those things where it’s not for me for to answer. I just want to play the best possible football that I can play. I want to bring a championship to the city of Pittsburgh. All that other stuff can be debated by other people,” Watt responded.

“When people have to declare themselves the best, they are not the best,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Insecurity is loud. When you’re the best, you don’t have to say it,” someone else added.

“The best G.O.A.T. answer ever!! I don’t have to answer that, you guys do. That’s why he will always be better than Myles,” one fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see which of the two has the more dominant season this year.
