The Pittsburgh Steelers and veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is in his first season with the franchise, are sitting at the top of the AFC North standings, but all is not well in Pittsburgh. The Steelers are coming off an embarassing loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, where their defense was outclassed from start to finish.
The Steelers’ next chance to get back in the win column will be on Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers, and it could also serve as Rodgers’ last chance in his career to join some elite company.
Rodgers has defeated 31 of the NFL’s 32 teams, with the Packers being the only team he’s never defeated, which makes sense considering he spent most of his career with Green Bay and won all four of his MVP trophies as a member of the Packers.
If Rodgers wins on Sunday, he’ll join Brett Favre, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning as the only quarterbacks to have accomplished the feat of beating every team in the league.
However, one move the Steelers made ahead of the game has the entire NFL world clowning the team on social media. The Steelers are donning throwback uniforms on Sunday night, and they jerseys are not beind received well.
“Easily top 5 worst uniforms Ive ever seen an NFL team roll out,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Jesus Christ they need to be docked 10 points to start the game with those on,” somenoe else added.
“Oh good lord… who had the bright idea of green lighting this abomination,” another fan wanted to know.
It’ll be interesting to see if Pittsburgh can win despite not dressing to impress on Sunday.
