The Pittsburgh Steelers are dealing with a lot of adversity heading into the playoffs. Pittsburgh has dropped its last three games to lose control of the AFC North, forcing the Steelers to head on the road on Saturday to face the Baltimore Ravens for the third time this season.
However, the four-game losing streak is leading to a divide in the Steelers’ locker room, according to SteelerNation.
“Reporter notes that some Steelers aren’t buying into the game plans – pissed over padded practice before Bengals game,” reported the outlet on Tuesday.
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“Padded practices aren’t what they need to play better on game day. They need a better system that the current talent can execute routinely…routine plays routinely. This is on the coaches 75% and players 25%. Too much pride on the staff to admit it,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“When your brilliant plan revolves around running into brick walls every single first down, that will happen,” another fan added.
“A team in total disarray, free-falling right out of the playoffs. Baltimore 44 Pittsburgh 9,” predicted one fan.
“Tomlin is coaching for his reputation. He better open it up,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Steelers can come together in time to save their season.
