The Pittsburgh Steelers still don’t have a decision from Aaron Rodgers on whether he will retire or return for another season of NFL football. Then, if Rodgers does decide to play another season, the Steelers have to work with him and figure out whether they are the right fit for him.

All in all, it’s been a repeat of last offseason, where the Steelers were waiting on Rodgers until just before mandatory minicamp. Still, the Steelers have continued to be patient with the four-time MVP winner.

However, one prominent insider around the league feels that patience may begin to wear thin.

“At some point, the patience is going to run out. It certainly seems like the patience for Steelers fans, just based on the feedback I get every time I talk about Aaron Rodgers, may already be running out for some people. For Art Rooney [Il], for Mike McCarthy, who’s trying to get the team ready on the field, that patience may be tested,” Pelissero said.”I don’t believe that has happened yet. If they don’t have something in place by the start of next week, I think that we get there,”
Tom Pelissero said on Thursday’s episode of The Rich Eisen Show.

Fans reacted to Pelissero on social media.

“We’ve been out of patience. Please just move on already,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Steelers Fans look ridiculous (including me),” one fan added.

“They have no one to blame but themselves,” another fan wrote.

It’ll be interesting to see how much longer Rodgers takes to make his decision.
