Russell Wilson has been labeled a lot of things in the past: A diva, corny, a square, and other names. But recently, a Seattle Seahawks rookie called him something totally different.

Rookie Seahawks cornerback Tariq Woolen noted he was not too impressed by Wilson or his physique according to TMZ Sports. Woolen considered the former Super Bowl Champion a “sack of potatoes.”

“When you see him in person, it’s like, weird,” the 6-foot-4, 210-pound defensive back said via TMZ. “He’s like a sack of potatoes.”

“Literally when I seen him,” he said via TMZ. “I’m like, ‘Dang, I didn’t know he was built like that.’ And he was short. I’m tall anyway but I was like, ‘Damn, he’s that short?!'”

Wilson, at 5’11, is one of the shortest quarterbacks in the league. But it hasn’t hurt his play over the years. Despite his struggles last year, Wilson was once considered one of the best players in the league.

Over the years Russell Wilson and his personality have been called into question. Especially last year when a lot of his teammates were upset by the way Wilson acted at times toward the team

But this may be the first time that his actual body was called into question by a former or current teammate.

Despite his comments, Woolen did say he was impressed with Wilson overall once he saw him in action.

“The crazy thing is he’s athletic. He’s athletic and he’s a good player.
