Rob Gronkowski has reached a personal milestone. Indeed, it might be the nicest achievement in his career.
The New England Patriots tight end scored his 69th career touchdown on a Tom Brady pass during the second quarter giving the Patriots a 21-10 lead over the Buffalo Bills. With the score, the party-cruise lovin’ Gronk became New England’s all-time leader in career touchdowns.
Gronkowski was excited for the achievement, mentioning last week his 69th score was going to be a special one.
“One more and I got 69 touchdowns. If you know what I mean. Only you know what I mean, baby!”
It’s fitting Gronkowski record-breaking touchdown is also the 69th of his career. If any player is worthy of having his record aligned with sexual innuendo, it’s the 27-year-old. I’m sure Gronk is very proud of the feat. Jokes aside, 69 career touchdowns from a tight end with multiple seasons ahead of his is insanely impressive. Gronk is one of the best tight ends in NFL history.
How did fans congratulate Gronk? Well, how you’d expect.
If he retired right now, it’d almost be too perfect.
