The Baltimore Ravens are not having the start to the season that they envisioned. Baltimore came into the season with legitimate Super Bowl aspirations, but after the first four weeks of the season, the Ravens are sitting at 1-3.

There’s still plenty of time for the Ravens to get things turned around, but it’s going to be quite the uphill climb, as one of their most important pieces will be missing for the remainder of the season, according to one prominent league insider.

Ravens DT Nnamdi Madubuike is out for the season with a neck injury, coach John Harbaugh announced. An expected but crushing blow,” reported NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport on Twitter.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“they got da best qb in da league so it’ll be hard to close shop for da season but it might be dat time. fire harbaugh and restart in march,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“How cryptic Harbaugh was about this injury, I had a gut feeling he was out for the season, they just didnt want to say too early! Major blow to that defense!,” someone else added.

“Ravens Better trade for Sebastian Joseph-Day with Titans before Eagles or Giants do…,” another fan added.

It’ll be interesting to see if Baltimore can get things turned around before it’s too late.
