The Baltimore Ravens entered the season with Super Bowl aspirations. Unfortunately for Baltimore, the early part of the season has not yielded very positive returns. The Ravens are 1-3 through the first four games of the season, and things are going to get increasingly difficult for Baltimore from here on out.

The Ravens have sustained some key injuries already in the season, but star quarterback and multiple MVP winner Lamar Jackson left Sunday’s loss to the Kansas City Chiefs with a hamstring injury.

Unfortunately, it is looking as if he’s going to miss more time with the injury, according to one prominent league insider.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) is not currently expected to play this Sunday vs the #Texans, nor next week vs the #Rams (outside of faster healing, which still can be deceptive). The bye week is after that. That’s a good safe window to help better ensure the hamstring issue doesn’t reappear later in the season when it counts more,” Josina Anderson reported.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“Sit him until Cincinnati visits Nov. 27. That’s the first of four division games in the final six weeks. Just win the division and be at full speed for the playoffs,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Hamstring injuries can linger for a long time and are very easy to re-aggravate. The Ravens might be cooked,” another person added.

“What’s the point of coming back at 1-5, he should just take the year off at that point,” someone else added.

It’ll be interesting to see when Jackson is fully healthy.
